Oh even the word prosperity sounds exciting. So many people through out time try to move heaven and earth for it. If only they knew how easy it truly can be be to achieve it. Webster dictionary describes prosperity as : the condition of being successful or thriving; especially :economic well-being. That is just the worldly term. What about having your family, spiritual health, mental, and relationship prosperity? All those things are very important and I am not disagreeing about having financial prosperity. For one to grow you need the others to grow with it or else you find yourself in the end of your days looking back, and thinking if only I was better to my wife and children. You may be asking how to do it? The first growth needs to be in your spiritual growth. Its hard to grow it that is not consistently growing.
- Make sure Jesus Christ is your number 1 focus!
- Work HARD and turn off the TV. Without hard work you wont grow and trust me, you penalize yourself. If your not sure how to work hard then find a mentor and one that will shoot you straight. Read a book on it and there is plenty on work ethic.
- Encourage your family and friends. I found if you want something, then you give something. If you want a smile then give a smile. Want a friend be a friend. Want encouragement then be a encourager.
- Surround yourself around people of prosperity. Sometimes it is hard to find them that is why your read books of people that have prospered, and listen to audio books.
- NO PORNOGRAPHY!!!!! Stay away from it because it will do nothing but destroy your life and your family. You cannot go to the top and stay on top if you dilute your mind with such filth. I have been a victim by my own choosing of pornography and I know the devastating effects of it. There is a great support website if this is your problem, xxxchurch.com. All together, US adults and teens spend 11.4 billion man-hours per year on Internet pornography. 1 out of 5 men admit to watching porn at work. Tell me if pornography will help or hinder you?
- The ultimate rule is golden. Treat others as you want to be treated. Its such a simple rule but so hard. Even if a customer or someone close to you treats you poor let it stop with you. Think if everyone passed on every bad deed and held every good deed. What do you think the world would be like then.
There is always more but this is the basics as what I have found. Am I missing any?
